History of Worcester

One of Worcester's most renowned items, Lea and Perrins Worcestershire sauce is made and packaged at the Midland Road production line in Worcester, which has been the home of Lea and Perrins since 16 October 1897. Mr Lea and Mr Perrins initially met in a physicist's shop on the site of the now Debenham's store in the Crowngate Shopping Center.

Things to do in Worcester

The exhibition hall was established in 1833 by individuals from the Worcestershire Natural History Society. It is situated in a Victorian structure in focal Worcester, which opened in 1896. The Worcestershire Regiment Museum assortment moved from Norton Barracks to the Worcester City Art Gallery and Museum in 1970.
